What to wear to your first reformer class

Almost every reformer studio requires grip socks, and almost none of them mention it until you are standing at the front desk being handed a pair for eight dollars.
Bring your own. Beyond that the list is short: something fitted on the bottom half so the instructor can actually see your alignment, and something you are comfortable being upside down in on top. Leggings and a fitted tank is the whole uniform.
Skip the jewellery, tie your hair back properly, and leave the loose t-shirt at home unless you enjoy wearing it as a hood during a bridge.
And arrive ten minutes early. The first class involves a spring-setting conversation you do not want to have while eleven other people wait.
